A Sudden Rush

A Sudden Rush
An Unorthodox Choka Poem of a Euphoric Torment…
A Story of a Soul who found an Interim Happiness, Slowly Fading Away…
By: Julian Corvinus Javier
Date: October 1, 2011 @ 8:16PM GMT +8

Rushing through my veins…
A torrent of vehemence…

My pain dissipates…
A renewed vigour once more…

Keeping me alive…
In the moment of pure bliss…

And within myself…
Fusing with my ebb and flow…
Swarming my senses…
A deluge of ideas…
A frenzied influx of thoughts…

My spirit reveals…
What I can’t see through the haze…
Clear moments, so ecstatic…
My soul slowly oozing out…
Every drop of life within…

Through all provisions…
Moments of infinity…
All vain facades..
And interim nirvana…
I’m flourishing through torment…

Calmly I’m fading…
Converging with euphoria…
Through life’s destined end…

Sounds from a sea shell…

Sea waters crashing…

I hear the sound of the sea waters crashing to the shore...

My Sound

My Sound
A Haiku Poem about what I hear when I place my hands over my ears…
By: Julian Javier
Date: July 12, 2011 @ 3:00AM GMT +8

A sound that calms me…
My hands placed over my ears…
Like lava flowing…

I hear the sounds of flowing and gently roaring lava...

Plea

Plea
A Cry for Freedom…
By: Julian Javier
Date: July 7, 2011 @ 3:16AM GMT +8

Open my eyes…
Wake me up and let me see…
The truth that which was hidden from me…

Rejuvenate me..
Mend this wound that which drains my blood slowly…
Give me life and heal me completely…

Give me strength and set me free…
Give me the freedom that I calmly plea…

Long has it been that you have taken from me…
Long has it been that you have deprived me…
Of what I deserved and what I dearly plea…
The freedom that which was taken from me…

Set me free…
Unleash me from these chains that bind me…

Unleash me from these chains that bind me...

The Northern Territory

The Northern Territory
A Poem about Australia’s Under Appreciated Northern Territory
By: Julian Javier
Date: May 5, 2011 @ 8:45AM GMT +8

Somber yet full of wonder…
I am the Northern Territory who lies over yonder…
“Who am I?” They all ponder…
“What can I offer?” they all wonder…

Darwin is my main city and I have many places that seem boring but sure are lovely…
Here are some places where you can see some of my beauty…
Kakadu, Arnhem Land, & Litchfield National Park are to the north of my territory…
Uluru, Kata-Tjuta, & Tenant Creek are to the south; add these to your itinerary…

Isolated and solitary…
I am located at the top most of the country…
It’s a little sad here now, I wish you could come here and visit me…
For only a few care and recognize me and I am very lonely…

Because of Tracy’s heartless madness…
It has been 43 years of this lonely and dreary sadness…
On a whim, she left 45,000 of my people homeless…
And 65 of my people died on a whim of her frenzied madness…

With their hearts filled with sorrow and dread…
They all left me forlorn and to other places they fled…
My heart was rend asunder while it slowly bled…
And cannot be mended by any thread…

Neglected by everyone else but my people across the land…
I was many times destroyed by chaos or disaster at a scale that is grand…
But yet here I am and I still stand…
I always stood up even though I was unbuilt by fate’s hands…

Destroyed and rebuilt due to chaos and disaster…
A place both lovely and sad but filled with wonder…
Visit me me and experience the wonders I offer…
I am the Northern Territory located over yonder…

Cherry Blossom Bliss

Cherry Blossom Bliss
A Haiku Poem about the feelings I get when I see Cherry Blossoms riding with the wind
By: Julian Javier
Date: April 21, 2011 @ 12:43AM GMT +8

Carried by the wind..
Cherry blossoms are perfect…
Soothing, Relaxing…

"These perfect blossoms soothes my senses and my soul... and it calms me down."
