Fields of the Fallen

I am the harbinger of death and strife…
I shall take your wife, your kid, and your life…
Without remorse, I shall pillage, plunder, and fight…
In the name of my god, I shall kill everyone against me in sight…

For eternal honor and glory…
Bloodshed in these killing fields i will carry…
For people to tell tales of my victory…
Surely, if I kill enough, children will admire me and hear my story…

The archangel of death watching over the killing fields…
Watching how men clash their swords and shields…
Blood and life wasted with the swaying of the weapon the warrior wields…
Never wavering in his blood thirsty rampage even if the enemy yields…

Chaos, turmoil, panic, violence, anarchy, and discord everywhere…
The stench of blood and death in the air…
A sea of corpses and ember from flames of ruin everywhere…
The screams of the innocent echoing in the air…

Warrior and weapon on a killing spree…
Blood flowing in the rivers to the seas…
Genocide was the king’s decree…
Hanging dead mean to withered trees…

The Archangel Azrail and his legion endlessly escorting the fallen…
Crossing out names of the deceased from the book of all men…
With a coin to pay, The Ferryman, Charon mans the rudder of the ship of the fallen…
Across the rivers Styx and Acheron, the ship carries the souls of dead men…
